University of Aveiro creates products to promote the Aldeias do Xisto. I was tasked to photograph the products, as such I went to the village and took the pictures thus giving the organic and hand-made feel of the designs.
A project focused on exploring the themes of *vanitas* and *carpe diem*, with a particular emphasis on portraying the idea of a woman’s purity being tainted. Through the use of symbolic elements like red paint, decaying fruit, and bursting balloons, I created visual metaphors to represent the loss of innocence and the inevitable passage of time. This project also allowed me to develop skills in studio operation and videography, blending technical execution with meaningful storytelling.
With the challenge of a low buget we had to design an exhibition that showcased the products the students of University of Univeiro developed for the promotion of the Aldeias do Xisto. Besides the set-up I was behind the making of the catalogue.
Beladona was born from the Glassberries competition in which as a duo we had to design a glass bottle for a ready to drink beverage. The result is a bottle for an RTD of black spiced rum infused with coke to be consumed in events, such as concerts and themed bars. As a team I was behind all the decisions however having more foccus on the product design develpment part. As someone who didn't have experience in realistic rendering I reinforce my ability to learn fast and adapt.
The Muji brand is well known for its simplicity so to not only document the story and principles by text I took a visual approach that show cases how the brand feels.
Otel explores the user experience deeply I’ts a sleek remote planed to be used in hotel rooms. It is intuitive for all different types of people, regarding things such as their age and language. The process of user testing is something I truly enjoy.
Crafting a fresh typography style is a journey of creativity and precision. It's about blending form and function to evoke emotion and enhance communication.
